Creative Coding, Project Two, Blog One

For this project we are looking at structure versus noise. We are exploring this in a very similar way as we did when exploring the boundaries of form. We have to create a structure and find through manipulation at what point it becomes noise.

Here is an example we were shown of the difference between structure and noise.
The top left is more or less just noise, there is no recurring pattern or structure, whilst when you look at the bottom right picture there is definite structure.

We have been given some code which repeats whatever code we put with it in order to explore trying to create a structure.

Here are a few examples of my work I put in there.

Here is the original code (hasn't been repeated)
Here is the same code in the pattern code (has been repeated many times over).

Here it is again except it hasn't been repeated as much. There seems to be a slight reminisce of structure through the repeated circles, however the colour is a slightly different shade in each.

Now we have looked at how to create a loop so we can create structures by ourselves. I have still not fully got it yet but we have been given an example which I am trying to understand.
