Digital Creation, Project Two, Blog four

I have found some images which use etching to show fluid movement through lines as I am wanting to achieve.
I would not look at making something this detailed, but this image does really show motion in the form of a wave.

This is another good example of fluid motion through using a line pattern.

This is a little more chaotic and abstract. For my etching I am looking more at having a clear direction of movement, while there is some in this it is still not ultimately clear.
I have also made some mock up models, this time using 1.5mm card. Instead of one piece then bending it into place I have used slotting in the center as a way to make it stand up.

For the first three images I kept the model on the horizontal, with a tail and spike slotted in the middle to prop it up.

For my next model I made the model face on the vertical.

Overall I don't think using the slotting technique is very successful as it takes away the fluidity of the model which I want to convey looming.
